CRYOGAS also provides LNG Auto Switching and Pressure Reduction Skid (content and purpose built for unit handling as well as plug and play purpose). Such RLNG Auto Switch and Pressure Reduction Stations are installed at LNG Regas Stations for the purpose of:
Auto switching between Vaporizers/banks of Vaporizers to obtain uninterrupted LNG regasification while ensuring safety from low temperature pass through.
The logic programming in PLC ensures switch over between the vaporizer banks at pre-fixed intervals. In case of higher withdrawal from customer, the PLC system ensures frequent switch over between the vaporizer banks without compromising safety.
As a standard feature temperature transmitter is provided at the outlet of the switch over system which ensures switching over in case temperature is observed below the set limit for any reasons.
On the same Skid Pressure reduction including slam shut down device is also installed to mitigate emergency risk in the gas supply line. Two parallel streams of pressure regulation equipped with slam shut down valves are provided to ensure uninterrupted gas supply even if one regulator fails. The regulator is equipped with limit switch to indicate failure of any Regulator.
