Cryostats are mainly Variable Temperature Closed Cycle Refrigerator Systems with Sample in Vacuum Mounting. Easy sample access is possible through vacuum shroud and radiation shield. The temperature sensor is installed at the sample mount to offer accurate temperature readings.
The Cryostats models are available with a Single-Stage or Two stage Gifford-McMahon (GM) cryocoolers or Pulse tube cryocoolers from Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI).
